The Role of the Principal Teacher and Faculty Head

This is a two-day overnight residential course for Principal Teachers and Faculty Heads. As more and more schools change to new management structures the first day of this course will provide examples of good practice in carrying out the role of a PT/FH. There will also be opportunities for discussion based on what you have heard and on case studies.
The second day will look at the process of applying for a DHT or HT post. Areas covered will include:-
What makes a good CV?
Preparing for interview
Getting and making the most of feedback
Learning from experience
Success and moving on
Part of the course will consist of mock interviews.
