Training
A vital part of the support that School Leaders Scotland provides for Headteachers, Depute Headteachers and Principal Teachers/Faculty Heads is high quality continuous professional development courses.
The strength and quality of SLS courses are a direct result of having, in the main, current practitioners in schools delivering courses on current issues. The presenters share their expertise, experience and good practice with participants. There are also opportunities for question and answer sessions, discussions on case studies and a chance to share experiences with peers.
SLS’s CPD programme is highly successful, with courses fully subscribed and participant evaluations encouragingly positive. The programme is continually reviewed in response to requests and feedback from participants, so that courses meet current needs and priorities. SLS’s aim is to deliver CPD of the highest quality that is relevant, supportive and enjoyable.
The CPD/Communication Manager is Greig Ingram (vandon@onscreen.demon.co.uk) and the CPD Administrator is Margaret Malcolm (margaret.malcolm@sls-scotland.org.uk).
All courses are open to all (inc. non members of SLS) the members of school leadership teams.
