School Leaders Scotland
On behalf of School Leaders Scotland, I am delighted to welcome you to our new web site! It seemed appropriate that as we rebranded from the Headteachers Association of Scotland (HAS) to SLS that we rebrand the web site as well. It will take us a little while just to get everything the way we want, but we hope you find it easy to move around and that key information is available to you.
In particular we do encourage you to keep an eye on the various professional development opportunities (including the renowned annual conference) and to support them by your own attendance or recommending others (non-members are always welcome) - neither you nor they will be disappointed if past reviews are anything to go by!
Please remember also that at any time we are happy to take your calls or e-mails and will try to get back to you within 24 hours. We have a wealth of expertise and support ready to hand.
The rebranding to SLS reflects the way our association has grown numerically and in character over the years and we would hope that we now represent the majority view of senior school leaders in Scotland. We have a long history of being key players in Scottish education. We hope that influence will continue to grow even stronger in the years ahead. Please help us to strengthen the organisation even more by recommending colleagues to join. Lyn Honnan will be delighted to discuss very favourable start-up memberships!
